Conditions:PP, snippets of new snow
First day at the home bump. Doing a great job of blowing snow, have about 18 of the 34 open and are pounding away on more. Mother nature was pitching in with light and moderate snow during the day. They are off to a great start and I wouldn't be surprised if the whole mountain was open for the holidays ROTD for me was Rodo, only about 1800' long but they had pounded it with nice fan gun snow groomed it to the max and then had it supplemented by mother nature to the tune of about 1 1/2 inches when it opened about 10:30. An absolutely beautiful skiing surface. Snow coming down at a good clip on the way home. Back tomorrow.
