I have to go to a family party on Sat in Woodstock. I would like to camp. Any suggestion on places. Needs to be kid friendly. I have a 12 foot pop up.
Like my kids to be able to ride their bikes. North or south os woodstock fine. Don't want to go west towards Killington. Thankx in advance.

You could try some of the campgrounds near Barnard which is one town north on route 12. Some of them may be right on Silver lake, which is a real nice spot. 10 minutes from Woodstock at most.

Silver Lake was booked. Quegee state park is right there. Going the other way might be Mascoma campground in NH. We are looking at that. Thankx all. We like to be on water so we can swim and boat. Rental of boats is nice too, so I don't have to lug my touring canoe.

I checked all and thankx guys I used all the info. final choice was Mascoma campground in Lebanon NH. www.mascomalake.com
It is close enough to woodstock and is pretty much on the water. Its a little south of woodstock and that will make it easier for the ride up Friday and the ride home Sunday.
