I feel presidents day wknd is getting as popular in Canada as it is here in the States and for that reason prices are likely comparable to US resorts. Used to be one would go to Canada to save a bit on the resorts and escape the crowds but even that seems like a thing of the past.
Nevertheless, great skiing out there and good for a change of scenery i guess...verdict: Still worth it!!

In nearly 60% of Canada celebrate Family Day weekend during President's Week. You might be seeing the effects of that.

But probably everybody else thought that going to Canadian ski resorts would be a great idea to get around the crowd.

I don't know, $66 -$67 walk up lift ticket prices at Sainte Anne or Le Massif still sounds reasonable to me, especially with family.

thanks everyone for the help in planning this trip. We're close to pulling trigger on this (snow conditions are the only thing stopping me and there really isn't much i can do about that).

Drive up to Eastern Township Thursday evening.
Rent condo in Magog for 4 nights
Friday - Drive to Sutton (Me + 2 kids)
Saturday - Drive to Bromont (Me + 1 kid (wife/daughter do "other" stuff)
Sunday - ski Orford (me + 2 kids)
Monday - ski Orford (possibly Owl) (me + 2 kids)

head home Monday afternoon
