Cancelling a vacation reservation

I had the experience of cancelling a weekend that we had booked at Sugarloaf and had put down a $326 deposit, due to coming down with a really nasty chest cold. Expecting the worst when I called on friday I was very pleased that the manager gave me a credit to be used for anytime until the end of the season.

I am a very loyal customer for Sugarloaf for nearly 20 years, so maybe that helped, but still I am very happy that they where so understanding:beer: .

Hopefully I will feel well enough to make it up there this weekend, either way we plan to ski Sugarloaf at least 2-3 more times this season.

I was just plesantly suprised that ASC would give me a credit at all, and I know that they are not obligated to do so.
