Trip Report:

Good times at Cannon this early season.. Stayed on the Zoomer chair again mostly. All the front 5 were good. Was foggy on the Peabody side and pretty windy up top. I don't gawk over scenery much but hard not too right now up there with the bright white pasted on the mountains, under-cast, sunset colors, etc. Messing around with the panorama mode on my phone.

Glades skiable @ Cannon yet?
I was there yesterday as well. Untracked was still too bony for my liking so I did not venture into the woods. Probably survivable and perhaps even with a few good turns. But this early in the season, I don't think its worth the risk of putting yourself on the D/L or worse. Give it another foot then things will start opening up safely.

I ventured into woods. It is knee to thigh deep on Green Beret. I got first tracks down the last pitch. Bought it once. I had hike back up in thigh deep snow to locate ski. Snow snake grabbed it. Skied Vista Way too. That was awesome. First tracks to be found there too. Skied Pauly's and Zoomer a couple of times and called it a day at noon.

First day on the Icelantics This year was awesome. I did jam my thumb in woods on a fall. It is pretty swollen.
