We had a great day today at Cannon. Foggy early but had burned off by 11 o'clock.
Conditions: Loose granular, machine groomed, natrual snow that was frozen.
Banshee Glade: thin cover in many areas but OK, later found out that it was closed but someone had cut the rope.
Jasper's hideaway: Machine Groomed, we only skied it when we were going to the tram.
Banshee Lift Line: Ungroomed so it had a icy crust And I almost crashed into a tree on it.
Avalanche: did not ski but looked fine with lots of loose snow.
Zoomer: Very good, nicely groomed in middle with fairly good bumps on edges.
Rocket: Good moguls off to side.
Gary's: Racing.
Time zone: Skied second to last run of the day. Average snow, nothing special.
Lower cannon, Parkway, and gremlin: Too crowded to ski a lot so we tried to avoid'em.
Lower Ravine: Very thin cover.
Missing link, lower Ravine: Fine, just packed snow.
Middle Cannon: Very nice little powdery moguls forming by the end of the day.
Upper Cannon: icccccccccccccccy.
Vista way: TRAIL OF THE DAY, very soft moguls with just the right amount of snow, a liitle thin.
Skylight: Groomed fine.
Upper Ravine: Icy.
All in all a great day and with 1' of new snow Tuesday it may survive the warmup.
