Nice to see them continuing the early season tradition of kicking ass. They don't open early but usually open strong.

Cannon doesn't have an unlimited snowmaking budget. The new manager is from the west, he may be getting a hard lesson on eastern conditions if this all washes away and doesn't have the cash to make more snow later in the season.

The question then becomes how much does the new GM listen to his veteran members of his ops team with their more intricate knowledge of the local microclimate around Cannon?

Those warm winds are real but seem to hammer the Zoomer pod more than anything. Theyre rolling the dice. Some years it wins some it doesnt. last year lost but this is nothing new

If he was there the night before Halloween he would have experienced that. Drive thru the notch around 9pm, 39 degrees til I popped out the North side. Car temp jumped to 62, then was back down to 44 by Carroll.

Loon ran a test early Saturday AM for a few hours: some fans by the gondy and a few sticks up on North Peak. Went by on my way to work Saturday morning and back through last night.

Everything Canon put down will be gone in a week. Waste of money.

Sno has until Nov 4, 2025. I don’t think I could last that long. For instance: Are they gonna let us store our bags inside without charging $3? That’s just one example.

Being that Cannon is a NH run operation, is the snowmaking budget public information? I bet some of the nerds in here could calculate exactly how much money JASON wasted and we could bitch about that! What's up with that Jason? The pro lease, Cannon's taking my money folks would really stew! Haha
