First trip to Cannon. Parking was super easy, parked right up front. East walk to get ticket. I bought my ticket through my local ski shop at Butchika's in Salem, NH for $57. Had I known about the 2 for 1 deal that Cannon was doing I would have done that right in the morning. I talked to a guy that said he usually just waits for a stranger that is alone and then they go in together and get the 2 for 1 deal. Will do that next time.

Lodge was pretty nice with a good size fireplace, plenty of tables and storage to put your stuff. Hit the slopes first thing and did about 8 runs. It was very icy and there were trails open that had bare spots and lots of rocks. These trails shouldnt have been open.
I was disappointed with the trail conditions and that there were only a few runs that had good snow ( Tram trail and a few others). So I stopped skiing and went to the lodge for lunch and some beers. I went into the Pub and ate there. Good food but way to pricey. They have alittle scam going that when you order a burger it only comes with a bag of chips, so basically that is there way of getting more money out of you because everyone and their mothers uncle is going to want fries with a burger. Also they did have a good beer selection at all.
Anyways I wasnt there to wine and dine..........Went back out after lunch and they still had guns blowing snow and it was snowing naturally as well. The condtions were much much better!! I did about 10 runs and covered the whole mountain pretty much. Overall I like Cannon and I would go back (but bring my own lunch and beer!). The place was alot bigger than I expected. I would love to go when the whole ski area is open. I am very interested in skiing the other mountain there that is all glades.
