Thanks for the article TB.I've known both Bill Mead and Steve Morse for 30 years.Definately true Cannon diehards.Bill Mead was ski patroling in my first days on Cannon in the early seventies.He is/has been Franconia police,EMT rescue,fire dept and a pilot.Pretty interesting man.This Cannonista thing has not gone over too big with the regulars though.I mean who's the head guy,Manuel Noriega?If anything we were Cannonites.Whatever.Am I a Cannonista cuz I've had 34 passes in a row?I guess.

Noriega was in Panama, the Sandinistas were in El Sal and Honduras.

I spent a little time in El Sal and Honduras. Interesting part of the world.

When it's good, it's great. When it's bad it really sucks. It's a real mountain.

Some days the conditions are boiler plate there while other resorts in the region are much softer I think that's where the hate comes from. When everything works out right, it's one of the best in the east.
