I felt really bad for one of my coworkers. He took off work yesterday and headed up to Whiteface Wednesday. I didn't think conditions there were going to be too good, guess I was wrong and he'll have some stories to tell :)

This has to be the most snowfall in the Northeast. It's definitely the time to try Lake Placid!

And it was snowing all day today, at least another 15 inches on my car at 4:00 pm and still coming down hard. Waist to chest deep in spots in the Slides today.

It was stupid to call it iceface in the first place but maybe that's why we never stand in line with 300 Joeys from hoboken sportin' starter jackets. Keep the gapers at Killington and Okemo, that's fine with me.

The slides were open again yesterday. slide one was waist deep down to the waterfall with pillowy 3-6' hits all over the place. Upper cloud was sick, lower sky was sweet. I'm running out of adjectives. empire was open and awesome. the whole place was just rockin'. I didn't want to leave. I'm sure the skiin' was good at several places in the Northeast this weekend but it wasn't better anywhere.

Its was pretty damn good at Gore but couldnt compare to freshies in the slides.
