well now that k-mart and pico are sold, and once the 5 million in back payment is paid it will be time to think of some changes. what would you like to see done?

i have one, DO NOT CONNECT KILLINGTON AND PICO. i think it will harm picos charm and classic new england lay out. when i want wide superhighways of trails i go to k-mart not to pico. and i want it to stay that way.

That'd be sweet....imagine it.....you could just have giant bowls instead of trails.

I'd like to see some improved snowmaking, and more of it.

Replacement of the Skye Peak Quad, and some sort of fix for the unloading there, it is insane with the Skyeship, Needle's Eye, and SPQ all unloading a lot of their traffic onto 4-way/Skyelark.

The interconnect is going to need to happen, I really doubt that Pico is a viable resort otherwise, and that is one of the few areas Killington has available to to expand.

I'd like to see Lower Sunrise back, along with the top of Rams Head, which I believe is supposed to be back when the interconnect happens. I doubt we'll get Lower Sunrise though.

Some trail re-routing needs to be done on Snowdon, the spot with Chute, Mouse Trap, Lower Bunny Buster, and GN all mixing is is a death-trap even when it's not that busy.

Replace Skye Peak Quad - I think this is doable.

Replace Snowdown lift with HSQ.

Consistantly make snow on Signature runs - Ovations, Devil's Fiddle. Fix snowmaking on Pipe Dream, run the SRT chair every weekend.

Redesign Terrain Parks.

Replace Ram's Head quad with a 6-pack, to summit. Recontour summit trails, add snowmaking. Ha, will never happen I'm sure..

Too much uphill traffic there then, in my opinion....unless something is done with the triple.

Agreed on both counts.....parks are fine, just not in their current locations, that set-up doesn't work for park rats or skiers.

Have you seen Header on a weekend? Maybe if Timberline and Vagabond are more noticed it would work....maybe.

I agree....early season you get lots of ice, cold and crap weather.

Late Season you get....nice soft snow, skiing in shorts, and sun.

Biggest thing: maintain the property they have. RUN Pico like it should be run....more snowmaking and maintenance. Actually mow the trails and remove the down trees. And run the OUTPOST!

Yes I forgot to say remove the Snowdon Triple. I NEVER ski Snowdon due to the lifts, but I would like to.

Header isn't the only run. I would widen Timberline a bit at the top. Also, Swirl is there and very wide at the top. Also, horn is still there, that would be the easy way down. Overall, they took the easy and cheap route with decaptitating Ram's Head and eliminated plenty of decent skiing. - in typical ASC fashion. What would they have done next to neuter the place? I'll never forgive 'em for Sunrise. Good riddens...

Agreed....

Although, it is still fixable with a small investment (new lift or just extend the current one back to where it was), cut some brush on the trails that haven't been mantained, and fix the pipes........maybe we'll see it happen, the old base area there would make a pretty good location for some more condos.

lower sunrise is a good idea, but i think they would need a new chair, since it was a longgggg ride. but im not too sure if it would work. i just dont think you have that many people dieing to ski the bottom of sunrise.
