Actually, Yes I did. I was actually taken to see both that big track and the dirt one across the street from it. While I am not a race fan myself, my niece and her husband are. He is actually a driver at Stafford Motor Speedway and is finishing out the season. He is currently in 2nd in his division (late model I think). He has accepted a job working with one of the race teams in the area. He is not going to be a driver though, I'm not sure exactly what he is doing for the team.

Did you see all of the Philli[p Morris tobacco fields? My niece lives pretty close to them.

I was in Concord today, did you happen to drive by that race track, Lowes speedway, im not a race fan but that place is huge.

You should see Lowe's Motor Speedway the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend when the bigger of the 2 Nextel Cup Series races they host there each year is held. All those fields surrounding the track are filled with cars and some serious tailgating (LOTS and LOTS of #3, #8 and Conferderate Flags flying), and by race time over 200,000 have filed into the speedway for the race which most years includes a fly over from a B-2 Bomber which is an awesome sight as it passes less than 100 feet over the top of the stands!

It's really an experience that you have to see to really appreciate it! Plus, one of the best things about going to a Nextel cup race is you can bring your own Beer into the track as long as its in a can and your cooler can fit under your seat!

Ugh. I worked in a tobacco feild one summer in high school. For about 2 weeks. Nastiest job I have ever had. You end up covered head to toe in tobacco juice, which is loaded with nicotine, you squish many tobacco worms (2-3 inch long huge caterpilalrs) in your bare hands, it's hot, it's humid, it's back breaking. In short, it's nasty.

Miek Rowe should try it sometime.
