ChatGPT has no respect for East Coast resorts

chatGPT wasn't wrong here. it was given the simple prompt 'what are the best ski resorts in the united states'. it produced a list that, while debatable, is clearly a list of large major popular ski resorts. i don't know why you would think this prompt would yield anything at all east of the rockies.

Agreed, I mean seriously, no eastern ski resort comes even close to the best Western ski areas. Just in Western Canada, I can easily name 10 resorts that are better in any possible quantifiable measures than the very best eastern resorts,

snowbrains and unofficial networks compete for the worst 'journalism' in skiing. the shit they allow to be published is atrocious. zero editing whatsoever. often just reposting social media bullshit. usually lots of factual errors, always poor writing. almost always writing in the first person - don't do that unless you are hunter fucking thompson. horrible websites.

I’m glad I’ve not wasted any of my time with those then.

That said, I can’t recall what other “magazine”, whether paper or online, I’ve read recently. So I guess I’m never their typical readers.
