I figured I would split the pictures up into three sets since there are so many of them, and I know how much it sucks to wait for 50 or so pictures to load.

Secondly, compact cameras suck. Since my camera crapped out of me a month ago I figured I would borrow my friends camera. Luckily I think I'm going to be picking up another camera this week. Sadly, I didn't do it before this trip. :-(

And thirdly, the Chic Chocs flat of rule. It's worth the agonizing 12+ hour drive from SNE.

Seeing that I already wrote more so far than any other one of my TR's this season I'll shut up and post some pics.

And one more thing... participants are Marc, nlmasopust (Nate), and Justin (non AZer)

Day 1:

Skinning through some sweet low angle snowfields:

Getting back to town (yes I know it is crocked. I can't get Picasa to work so I can fix it) :

Crazy that that's in Eastern North America. No one would guess.

It's hard to guage, but what was the verticle like on the typical run? How long the skin up?

How much snow have they gotten for the year?

It's seeing stuff like that on the East that you can only get to via skinning that makes me want to get off my ass and get into earning some turns.

They are just over 4000 ft...most of the runs are between 1500-2000 vertical. Tree line is at around 2000 vert and average annual snow fall is around 800". They are very accessable from the Gite de Mont Albert. For Albert, the skin in is about an hour to the base, then an hor or so per lap. Amazing park.
