Coldness

For the morning dog walk (6 am), I go from shorts and a t-shirt to sweatpants when it's around 60, put the fleece on for 40-50, wear a jacket for 35-40, and the fleece and a jacket for low 30's and below. I usually end up hot at the end of the walk, but getting out of a toasty bed and heading out to 30 degree weather is a bit of an unpleasant shock.

llamborghinii: I go out at zero with shorts on (Usually a long sleeve, but the shorts are on). A couple years back a friend drove by the ski house and saw me working on a buddies car in shorts and a long sleeve. It was -5. When the work took more than 5 min though, I had to go in for some pants. I run around in the snow in shorts all the time: skier and winter lover to the core, but I got no problem with high heat either. Worked in Puerto Rico for almost 5 years. Love temp extremes.

Good job over in Iraq. It must be very tough.
