The first, ThermaShield TiX, is a stretch membrane placed on the front panel, shoulders, and the outside and forward face of the arms. With windproof and water-resistant properties, ThermaShield TiX is meant to lead into the elements and keep them out of your microclimate. The back of the jacket is Thermo Roubaix HT, a material that insulates with a Merino-like hollow core construction. It's also breathable and stretchy, so it prevents the accumulation of clammy moisture on your skin and provides a comfortable fit throughout your long, winter training rides.
The sleeves are pre-shaped with raglan shoulders, so you'll enjoy uninhibited motion whether you're stretching out to the hoods or reaching into your pocket for a (probably frozen) gel. The three rear pockets provide enough space for multiple snack options and include an additional zippered pocket for media devices or personal effects.
