Was the old Coopers cabin really run down??? I've never been there..

It was pretty shitty. Crap all over the place, graffiti...etc. Tis a shame...was a fun place to have a safety check. I'll forever be indebted to Andy for showing bringing me there the first time...and Violetta for patiently waiting.

I was hoping this was a joke. Sad but true maybe..? I guess the internet and public forums are not the best place to discuss such "gems?". I only heard of Coopers because of AZ and did not have a chance to visit. I know of very few of these "gems"(for lack of a better word) but would be willing to trade my "knowledge" of such for the opportunity

R.I.P. coops, I still remember the day a friendly KMS employee showed me and my friend the way. A big piece of Killington history going away, sad, sad.

too late now, but what about if the AT club just left it there, and built their new one. This way they wouldn't be responsible for it any more... Can we get it delcared a landmark?

I don't need a stinking cabin for a safety meeting..the woods are just fine..

You don't understand, this was special. There were days I was there that there was a line outside. :) It was more than just a rest stop, it was the atmosphere.

So was there like a time limit? Waiting in line for a safety meeting..sheesh..that kills major vert..lol
