Looking at the forecast, they'll be able to blow strait thru Tuesday mid day. The wet bulb is going to stay WELL below 32 degrees until then. But then they won't be able to blow on Wed. Hopefully those guns are kicking out full blast, because Tuesday night thru Wed will either be natural snow, or some rain.

Prolly got an inch of natural this morning, it was snowing next town over at 8am, still is at 10:30.

Hopefully, the rain is just misting this afternoon.

Happy Thanksgiving!

As long as today's warm and wet weather doesn't effect the snow too much, Crotched is on target for opening this Saturday.

Looks like potential for some natural snow late tonight, followed by excellent snowmaking weather Friday night into Saturday. This will allow the snowmakers to produce some fresh snow and create excellent conditions for opening day.

Stay tuned for details and be sure to check the snow report before coming. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the schedule may change.

They must be really worried about losing base if they bother to blow it or something. 17 degree dew point, what looks to be half the mountain uncovered, and fans appear idle..

Blowing now, open tommorow, just got the announcement email:

The mountain is buzzing getting ready for tomorrow's (Sat 11/24) opening...

The mountain is opening with more terrain than ever for an opening day.
Exciting stuff! Expecting to open Moon Walk, Satellite Summit, Galaxy,
Meteor and Lower CM Park from the Summit and Valley quads.

Snowmaking resumed today at lunch time and will carry on until late
tomorrow morning as the weather allows. Tonight (Friday) looks great for
snowmaking, so you can expect superb conditions for opening day.

Saturday 11/24 9a-9p (YES, night skiing too!)
Sunday 11/25 9a-5p

Terrain: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Park. (rails, jibs)

I got the same e-mail...I'll be there tomorrow. With 2 lifts and the novice trail open, hopefully the crowds will be well managed.

Hopefully they won't be charging full weekend rates, but I won't let that stop me. 8)
