I was there on Sunday (11/25). It was my first time at Crotched, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was not very crowded at all, and the conditions were excellent on the few open trails. It looks like they're trying to get Pluto's Plunge opened soon. Hopefully they'll handle this week's rain/warm-up OK and get back on track.

Wait till they go full blast and have everything open. Very fun mountain. I'm actually going to hike up to the new summit this year after substantial snowfall to sneak peek at the new trails which have been cut, but have no lift access.

Honestly, they could be doing a better job getting the mountain covered if financials allowed for it, but with the last few years, I suspect they're going to an easy does it approach. One of the coolest things is going midweek at night while they're blowing snow, cutting into ungroomed 6" of fresh piled snow on greens and blues is just good for the spirit. :p

Yeah, I'm looking forward to going back when more terrain is open and maybe try some night skiing. It's a nice change from the resort mountain experience and certainly easier on the wallet. Besides, I don't think they have a snowmobiling dog at Mount Snow.

Is anyone planning on being at Crotched Friday night? My intention is to head up there after work Friday and be there by 5...

Was hoping to head up there after work, but looks like I won't be getting out untill after 8..

*grumble*

But the pics look like it's gonna look sweet.
