Not sure how many of you watch the Bruins, but NESN has fired Dale Arnold. Don't think I'll be watching too many Bruins games as I will not listen to Jack Edwards every night.

Wow! What was the reason? I'm not a hockey fan, but I listen to Dale and Holley on EEI. Arnold's one of the better ones.

Apparently on his show on WEEI he said some negative stuff about the Bruins and the coaching (which was probably correct). I honestly don't see why NESN would really care as he should be allowed to have his opinion for HIS show. He was one of the best play-by-play announcers the Bruins ever had and one of the most enthusiastic. He was with NESN for 10 years and it won't be the same without him.

Sounds like on Monday after he found out, he bashed the living sh*t out of NESN on Dale and Holley. Well deserved as NESN has been gong downhill lately. I don't like many of the people they've added to their broadcasts lately. As I see it, they could do without Tina Cervasio, Hazel Mae, Jack Edwards, and Rob Simpson.
