Dark background with gray lettering

Is there any way for me to change this in my browser or control panel. Preferences doesn't seem to brighten up the reading any.

Change style in the drop down menu, bars upper left

Okay, this is what I have in front of me. I'm not real techie, but if you could point out to me the bars in the upper left, I'll bet I can do it.

I'm on my phone, but there must be a similar menu on the desktop version, click on everything!

Yep! Right here switches between light / dark mode.
