flatlands of Mass.
I went there a few seasons ago...small and slow lifts but the race trails have a nice pitch to them and the other trails also looked decent (we went on a bad snow day). Having to walk across the road is a bit different. The lodge is the nicest one we've been to east of the Rockies.

Only downside for us is that it's about 2 hours away...and for that drive time there are bigger ski areas that we'd rather go to.

.

I was thinking that too. I would put the new $teaux lodge in that category. I believe it was entirely funded by one alum.
I did it on a Trifecta day. I remember taking a nap at a table there!

The road turns to super-dirt right past the ski lift. Can't tell that in the winter!

Small, yes, but beauty in the eye of the beholder. I like 'em all sizes and shapes. Hmm, I've heard that somewhere else before.8)
