I always hear that demo bindings weigh more then regular ones. On my Nordica Top Fuels I have the Marker System 312IT in a demo and on my Speedmachine 14's I have the same binding, but it's not a demo. The only difference between the two seems to be the tab on the toe piece and the heel piece that you press in to easily move the binding up and down the rails. I can have the same movement with the regular bindings, I just would have to keep screwing them in and out of the rails.

I don't think there is any weight difference. If I'm wrong please let me know.

there used to be a HUGE different in weight. but i don't think it is true in as many cases any more. demo bindings were systems that allowed for a changing position of the heel/toe pieces to fit various boot sizes. most binding systems these days allow you to adjust bindings on the fly, so regular binding weight has increased significantly. a binding used to just be a heel and toe piece, maybe you had a lifter if you are a racer. that integrated bindings are bulky monsters in many cases.
