I have seen videos of people grass skiing, and not the type with special equipment. They were just not regular skies (rock skies I assume) sliding down the hill. I have to admit I did not see a lot of turns but they all seem to survive. Has anyone ever done this and lived to tell about it?
As you may be able to tell I’m getting rather desperate to make turns and it’s only May.

Great to hear. Where did you make those turns? If you have any pictures I think we would all lkie to see them.

Grass skiing is doable when the grass is wet. If it is dry you need to get some speed to move on it. I am still a beginner at this type of skiing and you can see that I snowplow when I start going fast. This past Sunday I was able to hike and ski Outer Limits. After my last run I tried to grass ski down the last stretch but found that my skis would not move unless I pushed myself because the ground was a bit dry at that point.
