The caption says snowmaking at dawn, but it looks like a mid-winter pic as the trees have no leaves

Anyone know for sure?

there are no leaves on the upper third of the mountain and it was cold enough, just barely, to make some the last few nights.

Also deacons is now deagans. New owners same stuff.

That's got to be just a stock photo.
I was up there all three days this weekend and it was 73 degrees in the shade on Monday! Didn't get colder than 40-45 degrees at night. It was warmer this weekend than the last time I was there August 18-20 when it hit 38 degrees at night and didn't go over 63degrees the entire weekend. But the cold should be on the way this weekend.

The guns at Attitash were out on the trail around Thad's Choice while I was biking there and under the Double Double lifts.

I checked with my "source" last night who is temporarily in charge of the web site and it is a stock photo. if all goes according to plan they will open the friday before thanksgiving.
