So enjoyed the Whole Food thread, let's try another one. And yes Mr Prima Donna, you can compare this to my pet peeve with receipt checkers.

You go to the store, you buy and item, you are given receipt. Either the cashier forgets to swipe the little anti-theft tag across whatever it is they use to deactivate or it just doesn't work. You walk through the exit and the alarms go off, what do you do?

I stop, wait for a store employee to show up, show them my receipt and walk on my merry way. Mistakes happen

Keep going unless someone stops me. I know I didn't do anything wrong.

And I had my receipt checked today at BJ's. It took 2 seconds. I don't mind.

Life is way too short to get pissed about stuff like this. I prefer to be happy as much as possible.:spread:

so if i need a chain saw, i go to store x, grab one off the shelf and walk out. if anyone stops me, i get pissed, tell them i'm never shopping there again and walk out. that's what rip-off artists do. i work in retail. not real happy with it but it pays the bills, sorta.
