Just curious how many pages this will go. I would have to say yes. Snowboarders are full of hatred and jealousy. Discuss.

Plus the crotch hangs too low for lead changes...how long you been teleing?

4 years on and off...
My ski trip to Kashmir last year really showed me that I need to tele to really enjoy some backcountry... Mostly for the traversing...

Just read this on Amazon.com's "Look Inside" feature:

Glisse--derived from the French word that means "to slide"--encompasses all the ways that we enjoy and explore the snow. The backcountry today is enjoyed by sliders of every variety, from skiers to snowboarders. Who knows what inventions will come along in future years that will further expand our enjoyment of the snowy world? I embrace them all . . . .

You should be right on it then. The toughest thing for me is to go to the tele stance in hairy situations. I want to revert back to alpine for quickness of turns, but it is so unstable on tele gear...Also the realization that you don't need to lead change to turn the other way. Try quick edge changes w/o lead changes....what I call backside tele turns. I use them alot in tight trees, all in the ankles....

nah, just hate the skiers that hate snowboarders.... :)

I think ski'rs and snowboarders both share a hate for anyone that scrapes instead of carves.... I know they are just learning and we were all there once, but learn quick!

Many snowboarders started off skiing, some never look back, some have gone back to it or tele/AT.... I guess I'm not speaking for the generation that was born with one board on their feet, but I started skiing/snowboarding about the same time and have love for each of them in different conditions....

i just hate when people do certain inconsiderate things, reguardless of how they are rockin out...
