remind anyone else of the Autumn?

I don't know why but songs that have nothing to do with the fall still remind me of it, like Baby Seat and Who Needs Sleep.

The music conjurs a scene of a temperate fall day, cruising country highways, like VT Route 8 or 100 with the sun roof open and leaves blowing around the road....

Wierd isn't it? Well... I still like it. And them.

I forgot I had this picture on my site. They are one of my favorite groups. (I am in the green shirt & BNL are in the back row.) I think of summer when I hear BNL music.

I went to a promo at the Simsbury Inn before their concert at the Hartford Meadows / Coke / Dodge Music theater, whatever it is now called.

Barenaked Ladies make me think of Albuquerque, NM late at night, under my car with cockroaches so big you could put a leash on them. mostly because I ran into a traffic jam there at 3 am caused by a BNL concert, which caused my car (POS that it was) to overheat, which made me pull off the highway and into a parking lot to fix the water pump using a Swiss army knife, a plastic bag, and a roll of electrical tape.

Yeah, it was either fix it, or walk to Arkansas.
Necessity is the mother of invention. Worked, though.
