A 19.5lb Maine Coon cat named Kittery; he was abandoned or dumped in the woods and in rough shape when he adopted us. He's awesome, meets me at the door and follows me around like a dog!

I like animals but owning them is not for me. I'm too lazy and I don't like dealing with all manner of messes. Other peoples pets are nice because I can hang with them and just go home. Same with kids.

Just got 2 kittens a few days ago. My wife had a cat for 17 years. We had to put it down in December. It wasn't terribly friendly, so the kids didn't really have the experience of having a pet. These kittens are really for them. The first night they wouldn't leave our dining room. Now, 3 days later, they're into everything. Their new rest place seems to be inside the leather love seat. I think we're going to have our hands full.

that's a cool looking dog. I have a 3 year old Vizsla and we are also taking care of two other dogs, a golden retriever and a mutt.. Thinking once we are done watching the two that aren't ours about getting another dog possibly a type of wolfdog..

Had two cats...one of them ran away and the other is being taken care of in VT and doing well. I'd love to get another cat too but I fear it would go missing pretty quick in our neck of the woods.

Same situation with the Teefster !! i luv this big boy he's black and has the same sweet disposition as the Labs we always had when our adult children were kids .

BTW a Siberian Forest cat is VERY similar in both looks and size and demeanor to a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest cat . Mc's are awesome have fun

2 female weimaraners. Crosby is 9 and Bella is 7. Love them both to pieces. Bellas is our son's best bud. Crosby has finally warmed up to him after 4 years or so. lol. Crosby has wobbler's disease. She is dragging her front and back paw on the right side as a result. She doesn't appear to be in pain but we know the disease is progressing.

eastern painted turtle for about 14 years now.
Nice fish tank

I kinda like to think these two guys are my pets. I mean they live in my back yard at camp (even thru the Winter) they have no problem coming around. they have been around for along time, Pretty low maintenance guys lol..

Four parrots.
Well actually 3 macaws (2 Hahns and a Severe) and a Blue Front Amazon. They all talk, laugh, scream etc . One even meows because he spent nine months caged in a Vet waiting room.
They're alot of fun but also very demanding for attention.
