if you are close to the slopes, good for you. this is probably just a blip.
this type of warm rain has been happening more often lately and for many flatlanders like me it just sux.
conditions are great based on all the reports and pictures. you plan to head up during the holidays and boom this type of rain turns the slopes into ice fields.
winter rain sux. where is ullr now? he needs to come back and stay put.
That’s the true spirit of the grinch storm. Stealing your soft snow dreams and replacing it with a boilerplate groomer reality.

and while yes, we look to be back ok after Xmas, many people booked long weekends or started vaca today since a lot of schools have the full 2 weeks off.

now we just need to figure out the January thaw.

As much as you guys are complaining, I just dropped my skis off at Denver airport and there were ten other people at oversized bags flying east to ski.

Stowe states that Liftline, Goat, and National have reopened today due to the few inches of snow overnight freshening things up enough. I guess the pissing wasn't too bad in the north country.

Pretty wild that those trails have been open all except 2 days since November 21st.
