I'm doing stuff that I consider "fun" at work, but unfortunately that means that i'm inside today looking out the windows at the lovely weather :(

Working, which is hardly fun. It's probably a good thing that I can't see how nice it is outside (assuming that it is nice out here).

Working from home. So I'm hanging out in my shorts. Gonna have the windows open soon, music going, run at lunch time. Maybe fit in some house cleaning while I'm at it ...

After work group bike ride that I co-lead. I think my wife and I will ride our tandem tonight. Probably 25-30 miles followed by some good italian pasta or pizza and beers.

It's finally warming up so we won't need to wear tights and long jerseys.

I agree with Warp. Italy rules. Where did you go, playoutside? I've been and want to go explore even more and again.

And...back on topic..I was able to get in a ride in the woods this morning before work...(I was a little late!). Really gorgeous out there, rode for about an hour straight. I'm planning on a road ride tomorrow morning before work. This weather is picture perfect.

.

Italy is great...the food, people, scenery all amazing. This trip was focused...we wanted to relax, rather than tour around too much...a day on the beginning and end in Rome and a week in a villa in a small town called Marmorata, which is on the Amalfi coast. Also made it to Pompeii and hiked Vesuvius. Was awesome seeing and hearing the sea all day/night long! Fun to get a bit of swimming in too. I hope to keep the images of the coast burned into my brain forever!

Sorry for the hi-jack...

Hi-jack...what hi-jack its Italy! Nice, Rome and the Amalfi Coast are on my to-do list. I spent about 10 days there...we were in Florence, Sienna and other parts of Tuscany. Lake Como and the environs and then a few days on the Riveria in Santa Margherita, which is a KM or 2 up the road from Portofino.

Did you see any of the Giro d'Italia when you were there??

I was up working until 3am last night. Back at it by 8:30 this morning. I still have a little more to do before I start packing up my SUV to move stuff first thing in the morning.

If it makes you feel any better, I think the weather is supposed to be nicer here than there this weekend. We'll just have to order room service, I guess. :D Making the most of it!
