Wondering what I should do with the ceiling upstairs. Oil paint over calcimine... some peeling. Most isn't, but I'm told will eventually. Won't come off with a carbide scraper. Possible some calcimine was removed or deteriorated before the oil paint was put on and the oil paint stuck well to the plaster.

Blah. I should've just had my carpenter put up sheetrock over this mess.

I pressure washed my 1986 Snapper lawn tractor. It hasn't seen use in a few years. Overhauled the carb last week. Ordered a narrow shank 1 7/8" ball so I can tug my trailer in and out of the back yard with the tractor. That thing is a b___ to move myself. I used to move it around with the quad, but that resides up north now.

Let me see if I can interpret this...... Now, the next time that Mrs. Glenn wants to haul something big upto VT that won't fit in the Jeep, you can just tell Mrs. Glenn to go hook the trailer upto the tractor and then drive it over to the Jeep. Then hook the trailer upto the Jeep, and then finally load the big item onto the trailer HERSELF, while you sit back with a cold PBR (and/or Mich Ultra) and watch this all play out! ;) ;)

How much does the trailer weigh?

I'd never think of moving my 2000 lb pop-up with my JD lawn tractor...lugging a 10 cu ft cart filled with pea stone is about as much as I will do.

LMAO! The trailer logistics is a highly organized operation. Mitz would want to get it done as quickly as possible, while I'd want to do things in the correct order. Fortuntately, I usually take care of the logistics on Thursday, after work. For example, the trailer is already loaded, resting neatly on a jackstand, ready to be hooked to the Jeep when I get home after work today.

hammer,
it's a 4x8 trailer with a wood deck and wood sides. 300lbs+/-? I'm not sure. I know it's a PITA to move myself...up a hill, on grass.

OK, smaller trailer, should have guessed that.

It most likely weighs less than a fully loaded cart, which I just charge up a steeper hill on. Biggest problem I usually have is that I end up chewing up the grass on the incline.

It's a nice smaller trailer. It's rated for 1500lbs, so it can haul a decent amount of stuff. I've had it for about 5 and a half years and it's held up nicely.

Here it is before I painted the sides. It's all gray now.

Hmmm, I wonder of there's a way that we could disguise that trailer to make it look like it's just made out of cardboard, duct tape, paint and zip ties! ;)

Nice dinner, interesting conversation, fun friends. Kids are outside with a campfire. Life is good.

College graduation tomorrow for one of my best friends...she'll be 40 in October. Woohoo...I pushed her to walk, now she's looking forward to it. Later in the day will be cake and Margaritas!!

Worked all day indoors. Well I guess I should say sat around watching movies and napping at work(it was a rough day). Got out of the day job and had to cut alot of grass for customers.

Quick hike up to Lonesome Lake this morning and then played with the new chain saw in the afternoon! Waa-hoo! This Poulan Pro has 18" arm and 42cc engine, works quite well! 20 More trees to cut down for the neighbor tomorrow.
