Too bad SkiStef isn't on right now. She did the drive from CT to CO, she probably has some insight into stuff on the way.

Just do it non-stop.

~ 30 hrs. :puke:

Couple of weeks ago, I came back from Illinois area non stop with my dog..... 16 hrs of driving. Tried catching some zzz at the rest area but the dog could not sleep and wanted me to keep driving, no joke.

btw, I love the drive... almost zen like.

That time seems optimistic. I drove from AZ to Maine years ago. My car broke down in Lincoln Nebraska (fortunately I had a friend living there) and put me behind schedule. I drove straight from Lincoln to Maine in 30 hrs (including a 2 hr nap in PA somewhere).

Driving the length of PA was harder than any of the big western states.

I hate the drive across PA. My brother lived in Pittsburgh for several years. I probably would've visited more often if I didn't hate that drive. 6 hours of utter boredom and incredible deer carnage.

^agreed...drove to Cedar Point from Long Island last summer...10 1/2 drive...like you said the drive through Pa sucks!! But if you are into coasters, you cant beat CP...we had a blast!! So much so, that we are doing the drive again this summer :)
