Anyone do this? worth it?

From K's web site:

Here’s a chance to see Killington through the eyes of one of the premier adventure skiers in the world as Dan, one of Powder Magazine's Top Skiers of All Time, leads skiers on a mountain adventure, teaching everything from reading terrain to taking on the side country.

[h=3]All-Terrain Skiing, January 26-27, 2013[/h] This weekend clinic is an exciting and welcoming opportunity to venture into the moguls, steeps, glades and side country terrain at Killington. Over the course of the weekend Dan will give clinics about equipment, tactics and terrain. He will work with skiers to tweak and develop the skills that are key to taking advantage of Killington’s expansive and adventurous terrain.
[h=3]Exploring the Beast, February 15-16; 17-18 and March 9-10, 2013[/h] For intermediate, advanced or expert skiers looking for a unique experience with a backcountry component. This is a chance to learn first-hand from a premier adventure skier about reading terrain, conditions and picking the best lines down the mountain while exploring the glades, side country and backcountry terrain.

If you're on the low end of this spectrum yeah its worth it but if you're towards the high end and there is a low end person in the group I'm not sure it would be very worthwhile but YMMV.

keep the faith
It would suck to be in some difficult woods and have to wait up for the 1 truly intermediate person who signed up for it.

If it was a bunch of people your own skill level it might be worth it. If you're into that kinda thing.

Ohhh...Dan is leaving his home mountain (Sugarbush) and going to the dark side! Although John is still firmly at SB.

Do they legitimately go into Killington sidecountry? That's pretty cool.

Didn't they do this last year somewhere else, like Okemo?

And do they get lost and require a rescue after venturing out into said sidecountry?
