Mmm... pumkin ice cream is awesome.

I had it last year. My parent's took me out to the Publick House in Sturbridge, MA for my graduation dinner.

Pumpkin ice cream pie for dessert. It was fantastic.

Love the candy corn. Love the peanut butter cups. And soon I'll need a blender to consume it all when my teeth rot away from my skull.

...CANDY CORN!!!!!

:D :D

It's in stores. Love that candy. I got kind of sick though the other night after eating too much of it :puke: Can only do so much I guess

What's your favorite fall/halloween candy?

I found some candy today grosser than corn (which, I actually kind of like). You know those Easter Peeps? Those soft marshamallow things? They have black ones now, shaped like cats. ick.

Pumpkin Ice cream, yum okay any ice cream yum, as one of the resident Italians I'd try garlic too.

Now candy:
#1-100 any, all types or regular chocolate (but not covered insects)
101 Candy Corn
102 White Chocolate - if they make it white by taking the cocoa out of the chocolate what do you have left??? :puke:
103 Starburst
104 Candy Hearts
105 Skittles, looks like feels like M&M's it should be against the law to imitiate great candy with fake fruit flavors & be chewy. I like Peanust butter so Reese's Pieces are exempt & they have ET approval.
Dead last - I'll have to wait until Halloween, there are a few types of long time candy i threw out as a kid & I'll throw them out of my kids bag too.

Thinking Sugar Daddies & similar.

Skittles are great- eat a whole bag and get the Skittle Sweats, plus the sugar high. Nothing better. Not only that, but the coating is just right for tearing up the inside of your mouth, they color your tongue permanently, and the flavors resemble absolutely nothing found in nature. What's not to like?

(I really do like Skittles, though)

Pumpkin ice cream is a lot like pumpkin pie, but colder, creamier and just a bit sweeter. It really is good. Heavy on the brown sugar and cinamon.

See garlic ice cream, I don't know... garlic is a component of flavor I only associate with savory, nothing sweet.

Pumpkin ice cream shouldn't be lumped together with that garlic ice cream because the only thing you really make with pumpkin otherwise is pie, a sweet dessert. Or pumpkin muffins. Or custard, which is really just pumpkin pie without the crust. All sweet.

I feel like I need to go buy some now...

Back to the thread....

Fall means Football!!!!! My Giants actually have a winning record and Eli Manning really does know how to play quarterback.

This weekend's game is big.

Beating the Cowboys/Parcells as a road dog would stamp them as true contenders.

Yes, that would be awesome but perhaps alittle unrealistic

I wrote a book just like that, it's called "Random Thoughts I Have While Spacing Out At Work". Cool!

Yeah, back to the thread....
Fall is about putting away my summer stuff and getting out my winter stuff. Winterizing my unabomber style shack. Putting snow tires on the car. Insulating the well-house. Stacking wood. Cooking and nesting. And most of all, PRAYING FOR SNOW!

Yes, well, a book may be in the works a little later, we just haven't had enough publications for a compilation quite yet, but I won't rule it out.

I'm a little dissapointed by all the rain is basically ruining the foliage around here but I am uplifted by the fact that K's opening day is less than a month away now.

I have always liked fall. Good season. Good food. Good beers and good sports.

Also fires in the woodstove and fireplace. Good times. Am I right or am I right?

Then of course, taking off the screens and washing the windows; gambling as to the absolute latest date you can mow and bag/mulch so you won't have to rake in the spring; emptying out the window boxes; wrapping the shrubs; locating your shovel, putting away the garden tools; cleaning the chimney; winterize the summer toys. Shoot. I haven't done any of this yet. Doh!
