(I have a strange feeling that this was already a topic, but I can't find it. Sorry if it's a repeat.)

1. Quantum Leap @ Okemo: When it's groomed nice, it is a great cruising trail. It has some steep pitches and even some rocks at the beginning. It is a bit short, but it's just a lot of fun.

2. Fallen Timbers @ Mt. Snow: Some nice bumps when it's not groomed and it's decently long and pretty narrow.

3. Hardscrabble @ Cannon: One of the toughest trails on that mountain, it's long, rough, and a lot of work. Not to mention it has those little trees growing right out of the snow.

4. Wild Turkey @ Jiminy: Short, but sweet and pretty steep. It isn't as tough as it looks from Left bank, that's for sure.

5. Big Chief @ Beast: A nice long cruiser that almost always has nice snow and some fun skiing. Nothing challenging, but just a lot of fun.

From the prespective of an old guy who's only skied 3 years (and missed most of year 2 on pup) and hasn't sample that many areas.

I really like Perry Merrill and Gondolier at Stowe -- long cruisers that, for blues, have some relativey steep sections (especially Gonolier). I also like Lynx at Sunapee -- another nice cruiser that seems to offer just the right challenge right now.

So many of my favorite trails are at Sugarloaf that it is hard to choose.

Favorite trail to scare myself with: White Nitro at Sugarloaf.

Favorite cruising trail: Tote Road top to bottom at Sugarloaf.

Favorite senic trail: Two Miles Home at Bretton Woods.

Favorite classic New England trail: Winters Way at
Sugarloaf.

White Nitro - Sugarloaf
Misery Whip - Sugarloaf
Triple Trouble - Loon
Middle Earth - Sugarbush

Anything in between or around the above mentioned trails.
Any gladed area at Jay.
I'm gonna mention Wildcat; was there for the first time on closing day this season, so I didn't get to ski much of the area, but I loved the funky vibe there and could easily see all of the off trail possibilities. On my list of areas to spend a few days at next season.

How could I forget this combo?
Chute-Liftline-tower 5 cliffs is another combo that is amazing on good snow days.

Time to wake up...didn't mention Trail 44 or Annapurna at Hunter.

44 = Westway

AnnaPurna is a great trail - but it's more of a skiers line...

   I never call it Westway and when I see that name I always think of something over on Hunter One; some kind of mental block I guess    .

Purna has that double fall line which does make it more of a skier's trail.

It's not really even that...
It's just a pain in the butt to get to... :)
