Crazy......being from Michigan and without a professional Football team, we tend to be GB fans, and thus, Reggit White and Brett Favre fans.
Favre as a Viking is tough to swallow, but then its all the midwest, eh!

I'll cheer for Favre, ya shur youbetcha!!!

Ugh . . .

It was a great play, but I hate how every great play he makes inspires talk from the announcers like he's some kind of Deity. He made a great throw, Greg Lewis made a great catch, that's it. It's too bad we have to hear about how great he is for the next week. (I don't really care about the 49ers, either, I just hate media fawning).

I'm not sure who's bearing the brunt of this insult......the city of Detroit or the Lions

I can't stand the drama queen that Favre is.........just want him to go away........until I watch him play in a big game. Guy is easily a top 10 QB all time, if not top 5, if not the best ever, belongs in that conversation. I personally feel Joe Montana was the best ever, but Favre belongs in that conversation. I would be pumped if I was a Vikings fan right now.

DHS, take it however you want. ;)

I agree about Montana. In fact, we were huge Chiefs fans when the Chiefs took Montana for the last few years of his career. Still, he'll always be a 49'er.

Favre, is a great QB! Do I think he should have stayed retired? probably, but if he's playing I'll watch.....except last night when I fell asleep at 9pm ish. :(

Brady has to be included in top 5.

In no particular order:

Montana
Brady
Favre
Unitas
Elway (or Marino?)

Just my $0.02

While I can say that I think Montana is the best ever, I couldn't name a top 5, especially with pre-1980 QBs that I didn't get to see play.

Peyton certainly belongs in the same company as Brady and Favre as far as modern day quarterbacks.
