In a non pm reply, this ski season has been good for me in the following ways:

1) The best Thanksgiving skiing I can ever remember at Killington.

2) Great snowcat serviced powder skiing with my son at Belleayre in January.

3) I saved enough on my oil heating bill to have extra money for skiing.

I met my basic goal of getting out more times this season than last...:)

Now if I could only ski in the week I'd potentially be able to get a couple of free tickets. :(

WOW! After reading all the doomsday stuff, I like this thread. This season has been good for me for a number of reasons:

* An unexpected October start at Killington after they said that they wouldn't be opening so early. Not only was it early but the conditions were mid winter conditions and some nice powder.

* Presently I'm on a record pace for days in. My previous record was 34 days, presently I'm up to 32 days and last year I went all the way up to May 30th. Still hoping to get 50 in

* First trip out west, went to Utah last week.

* First trip to Cannon and met some good people from this forum

* Best Thanksgiving weekend I ever had skiing.

Hasn't been bad at all :)

Personally, this season was a success for three reasons:

- Getting past my mental block. I can go fast and be safe and under control. Speed is fun!

- First year in which I will have skied double digit days (10 - just made it).

- Discovering a new activity that me and my wife LOVE to do together. She is my ski buddy for sure.

PS

-I just realized that I hit double digits with AZ posts (10).
