Euro 15 day looks good for all of NE.

Jay will have Park City DOUBLED by the end of this weekend. Stowe is 1" away from matching the snowiest resort in Colorado (Copper as of right now). You guys can stay out there

Slug moves here, and we get literal 100 year record high temps this week. Coincidence?

EDIT: To be fair, does look like it's around freezing at >=8,500 feet, so that might just be saving us today.

I definitely heard thunder this afternoon. Only twice, sounded like it was coming more from the Alta direction to my ears, but either way I couldn't believe it.

Pretty happy with the snow set up for me to hit K Mon-Wed next week. A decent storm will fill in anything that's still a bit sketchy.

Will probably hit Belle for a day trip tomorrow.

We have had good stretches before, February/march 2015 and 2007 come to mind, but both followed a warm January. It is just excellent right now in the whites, there has been no thaw since December and the hits just look to keep on coming.

Agree. I've skied more good days this year than a long time. Was here for 07 and that didn't get good till February. The past 5 or 6 weeks have been proper winter.

One thing we somehow seemed to avoid this year was the dreaded "January Thaw". Haven't really followed the strength of the La Nina but at one time IIRC I heard it might be fairly weak. Right now eastern skiing is probably overall in better shape then parts of the west. It certainly better then it is in Colorado at the moment. But the weather guys I follow (Tomer and Bastardi) are really bullish about where this winter is going, BOTH east and west and March and April always seem to perform so I'm confident it will be good when I get out there. In the mean time got at least 2 up coming NNE trips that I'm looking forward to.

I might have to mount my snow blowers if this verifies. About 35" IMBY.

I skied with a friend of mine at Killington yesterday who had been in St Moritz 2 weeks ago. He said the snow was better here. Of course, it snowed there 2 days after he left.
