Just because I like to chime in from time to time, and because I need a break studying for my bar exam, I thought I would remind everyone there will be fresh skiing in the northeast in 4.5 months......

Until then, enjoy your dry land training...your hiking, and your beer drinking.....

On the news I heard there were Websites with countdown timers for the 18th birthday of the Olson twins.

Why not a countdown timer for Opening Day for skiing?

With K-mart having pushed back their opening day until mid-November we could use Nov 15th as a referance day. Using that day. . .

151 days and counting!

Great! Keep that feeling! I have been starting around Nov. 5th for the past few seasons, and was bummed last year when Kmart and other areas pushed back the date so I "adjusted" myself to counting on the 15th. I'll be hoping for a cold October.

we will see how my gut feelings are. What worries me is we are still in a cool pattern even if though its summer. Once a real ridge of high pressure sets up off the east coast, it may be hard to dislodge once fall comes which won't be good.
