Slopefillers.com had a good analysis the other day on the value of four packs of lift tickets. We all know they are a good deal, but it's interesting to see it in the statistics.

Basically, on average you have to ski about 16 days for a season pass to be a better deal. On average, four packs run about $49 per ski day across the country. Those who work the ski on the cheap thread real hard can often beat that, but you have to admit four packs are simple and reduce the effort necessary to find a decent deal. You just need the foresight to buy early because they're usually only offered in the Fall/preseason.
