we ended up going and had a great time. This was my first time at bretton woods, and i must say i was impressed by the place. It was free so there was nothing i could complain about at all. would i spend the 50 plus to go there?, probaly not, but its a nice, fun mountain and im cheap.

First off you can't beat the drive into the place and the scenery from the chair is awesome.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the temps were real warm, it was a perfect day of skiing, oh ya did i mention free?
the place was very uncrowded on a sunday, little lift lines. They have 4 high speed quads, so that was nice to make up for the somewhat short runs. great snow cover, no icey spots, most everything was open, even the glades. they have some great glades, some were easy and some were very challenging, i skied mostly bump runs since there werent anyone on them. the trails are somewhat tame and everything is groomed. By the end of the day i was sore and exhausted, little sleep last night.

They did alot for vw appreciation day, i wasn't expecting it, which made the day even better. as soon as you pulled in with your vw they gave you a bag with coupons and kool vw trinkets, and 2 free tickets, pretty awesome.
There was about 4 of the the new jetta v, that you could sit in and talk with the reps. the new jettas are much nicer then the jetta iv imo, they had a toureg and a contest with giveaways.
In the pub afterwards they had a bunch of vw giveways, Met a bunch of othert vw owners too.
its def a family oriented resort with real good customer service and everything is convenient.
there doing again next year from what i hear so i'll def be there. probaly the best day of skiing iv'e had this year, not counting a couple powder days.
anybody else go?
