Check out attitash.com

Suprised I didnt hear more about this.

That's because they unfortunately chose what may be a great powder day to be the freebie

Seriously....if the storm does come through, then epic powder for those who dare. Some of us are busy that day though :x  I never really cared much for the 'Tash though...kinda icy.

I'll be there Saturday. I hope there's a big dump Friday.

I'll be at the River on Sunday hopefully, and back at Attitash on Monday.

I love vacation time.

May have to ski solo Friday, so may not venture that far. But, the price is certainly right...

I want to go, really I do, but I have to be in Hartford by 6, which might be difficult, since I have to be there with my wife, adn she can't go tto Attitash.

Tisk, tisk, this is not the dedication we're looking for around here.

If need be, put in a call to Net Jets. You investment banker types should be able to do that without even noticing the missing coin right?

Either that or fire your wife.

Hmmm...
Not a bad idea, there. I suppose I'd miss her, though, at some point.
Net Jets, huh? Man, I'm so broke, when the bums ask me if I have any spare change, I say, "No. You?"
Wait, I do that because I'm an arsehole, not broke.

Mapquest says 4 hours from Attitash to Hartford. How long would it take to drive that if you had to stop in Boston, shower and change, take the dog out, and pick up the wife?

Ha! Well at least you're not in denial.

Solution, dog outside on a leash all day, forgo showering and changing (duh), and bind and gag the wife and toss her in the car, if she tries to give you any trouble, point to the roof rack.

See that? I'm a first class problem solver. :dunce:

Coming home to a pupcicle would certainly open up free time later in life.

I've decided the Ski Gods are a cruel and fickle bunch. Allow me to demonstrate:

Free Friday at Attitash, and a storm rolling in- Good things.
I have to be in Hartford on Friday. Bad thing.
Turns out, my wife may not be able to go, which means I don't have to. Ray of hope.
I've come down with a nasty cold, and probably won't be at work tommorow. Also means no skiing. Bad thing.
Now it seems we will be going to Hartford, which still means no skiing, and I'm sick, which means no fun.

Such a teaser, free day, new snow, can't go, then maybe can, then can't. Arrgh.
