Not happenin.....
Guess I'll just have to start my own thread then
18-0 with one to go for the PERFECT season.....![]()
Then I would say the Girlie men are about due to LOSE ...
I am STILL in complete SHOCK! Happy shock mind you....this was just an incredible game. I was on my toes all game...the defense was AMAZING. Manning was cool and collected. His last drive was simply incredible. How he GOT OUT of that tackle, and how Tyree or Smith caught that pass WITH HIS HELMET was unreal. Just one of those plays would be stellar, but BOTH. Wow.![]()
Those boys played HARD.
To see Brady on his ass and being clocked several times was just sweet.
I will say that it was completely classless of Belichek to LEAVE the field before the game officially ended. But with that team, I am not surprised. They have become almost as arrogant as the Cowboys.
Mind you I have ALWAYS been a Giant's fan. I remember 1991 when we JUST won that Super Bowl against the Bills. I've never seen my Dad jump as high. Last night we were just stunned.
But I was a Pat's Fan from 1995-2007. I cheered for them when they played against the Packer's. And I was a fan until this season with the video taping scandal, Brady's deadbeat Dad Status, and their overall arrogance. Why they did not kick that field goal in the 1st half, and tried to convert, was a sign of their hubris IMHO.
They got what they deserved. The G-Men came to play hard. The Pats felt that they were "entitled" to the victory....that means nothing...
I remember the Giants/Broncos Superbowl in 87. That was a great game watching the Giants manhandle the Broncos. The difference back then was, the Giants were expected to win, they had been steamrolling over everyone througout the season. In this game, they were heavy underdogs that a lot of folks didn't thing stood a chance against the might Pats. Well not only did they prove everyone wrong, they did it convicingly. Hat's off to this team, great accomplishment.
I work in an office full of pats fans. Sadly, they seem to be pretty sore losers. All anyone has said all day is that the pats were "off their game" last night and if they were "on" there's no way the Giants would have beaten them and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. My response has been, "I'm sorry, I guess you missed the Superbowl last night." Had the Giants lost last night I would have admitted defeat, said my congratulations and stayed in my corner. Is it wrong to expect the same thing from someone else?
Only if they're Pats fans.
You should listen to WEEI (or 105.5 in your case) High comedy, and I'm not even a Giants fan...

The Giants defense pummeled Brady at every opportunity. As a Giants fan, I was thrilled.
Yet the Pats were ahead with 2 minutes left before Eli did his thing.
Frankly, I thought Brady put forth the most courageous effort I've ever seen by a QB. He was on his own at the end. His O line was completely flustered. He was on his butt every play. Yet he hung in there and never quit and almost won the game for them.
His legacy was only polished by this effort in my eyes. The guy is a gamer.
