OAKVILLE, CT — AlpineZone.com Founder, Greg Blasko announced today the Website’s "AlpineZone News" section has been added as a news source for Google News, the Internet search engine's online news aggregation service.
AlpineZone.com, a popular Northeastern U.S. skiing and hiking Website located at www.alpinezone.com, launched the news section in October. To date, the skiing-related articles found at news.alpinezone.com have been read by over 8,000 visitors.
"We’re very excited to have been reviewed and accepted by Google News as one of their news sources. This adds a high level of credibility to the information we provide to the Northeast skiing and riding community," said Blasko.
With the inclusion in Google News, all AlpineZone News articles will now be accessible from the Google News service, located at news.google.com. AlpineZone joins the likes of the New York Times, Reuters and the Washington Times as a Google News source. Relevant press releases can be submitted to AlpineZone.com via an email to editor@alpinezone.com.
"This is not only exciting for AlpineZone.com, but for all Northeast ski areas," remarked Blasko. "By submitting their press releases to AlpineZone, their news articles will be quickly indexed by Google News leading to instant exposure from anywhere on the Internet."
Google News also allows users to sign up for "Alerts" that will email relevant news articles as they happen based on key words to anyone who signs up for the service. The Google News and AlpineZone News services are both available free of charge.
