Gore
Warm cloudy
Loose granular/base 42 trails open
We started the day on the triple at about 9:30, mostly because the gondola had a long line. We did the lower mountain most of the morning on the right hand side, blues and greens, they were mostly loose granular, and because there wasn’t much traffic there wasn’t much exposed base. At noon I got over to Hawkeye and Chatimac(sp) be way of Pine Knot and at the end of the day Foxes lair and whatever the trail under the gondola is back to the lodge at 3:30. All in all the conditions were not great. Lots of exposed base every were you went. But it started snowing at around 2:30, and it snowed hard. The last trip down was the best of the day. I don’t know how much they got, but it was still coming down pretty good after we left Casey’s East and it stayed snow until well south of Warrensburg. Today would be the day to go to Gore.
