No withdrawls yet, and likely not for a while, since I tend to put so much of my "non skiing life activites" on hold during ski season, that when the season finishes up for me, I tend a have a few solid months(minimum) doing non skiing activities/events that I enjoy that the slack of snow-sliding doesn't cause too much of a state of withdrawl/depression to set in :)

That's been kind of the biggest change for me and my ski addiction over the years, since I've begrudenly come to accept that you can't ski in New England 12 months a year and I'm not moving away from New England for a multitude of reasons, I've come to find/develop a liking for multiple activities that I can easily do in non skiing months, but can't easily do in skiing months.

Big time!!! I just got my Cannon pass as an anniversary present from the wife. I should be golden between this and my Killington pass.

Only 5 months.

My skis are still hanging out next to the door, right where I left them when I returned from Sugarbush. I see them everyday, and it's all good.

I finally put my boots away a couple days ago after letting them dry out for a couple weeks. ;)

I was able to hold em off for awhile- being real busy at work(s) helps

but they start creeping back when I sit around

so I figure this might get my mind off it— some tix to the inaugaral season of the ‘L.F.L.’

if I like it mebbe even get a season pass—

who knows, we might even get a AZ group discount—what do ya say?

Lingerie Football League here I come!

Going on this ride with my son at Hershey park a couple weekends ago made me jones a bit. I found myself looking at the sheaves and thinking about how I can't wait until November.

That's cool! I'm going to Chocolate World in a couple weeks but I don't think that's anywhere near as exciting (you know, the free version of Hershey Park ).

I hate this rain. I hate not being able to run or MTB. I need to ski.

The weekend I went it was on and off showers the day we went to the park so it really kept the crowds down. The next day the weather was nicer and that's when we hit Chocolate world which was much less crowded because everyone was at the park. BTW you can buy dicounted tickets for Hershey Park at the Giant supermarket in or right near Hershey (I think it might be Rt. 33).

It's not just me, though. I'm going with 3 other mommies and kids (2 of which I'll be meeting IRL for the first time after knowing them online for 5 years) so after 5 hours of driving one-way (not counting rest stops) for one weekend of visiting, I don't think we're up to doing a big deal. But thanks for the tip.

I spent the past two days driving around VT for work. I certainly made a detour to all the base areas I came across in my travels: Mt. Snow, Stratton, Bromley, Magic, Okemo and Hogback and Maple Valley for lost ski areas.

To be honest, I'm more jonesing for sunshine than I am to go skiing. The only ski related I've been thinking about lately is why couldn't we have some much precipitation in March along with temps below 30. It would be like Utah here in New England if that happened.

I also bought goggles off of Tramdock today. Just organized my workbench in the new house and put my ski vise in and lined all the skis up on the wall ...

Know what's funny? The theme song from Wanderland totally makes me look forward to the next season. Not sure what it is about the song. Ignore the video below, just the song. :-D
