Today, for the 1st time, I used a GPS program in my Blackberry to track my runs. I don't think it's going to be very useful for tracking vert with out manipulating the data a bit, and I really don't feel like doing that right now.
It picked up my max speed for the day at 26mph, but for some reason, it's only showing the last handful or points on the Google Earth file. The webpage shows all of the points that were transmitted.
It also shows that the total distance for this track was 7 miles. That would include lift and lodge time. Using a guesstimate of 45% snow distance, 50% lift distance and 5% lodge, that would put the distance skied at 3.15 miles.
The timestamps are also an hour off (DST) but the time on my BB is normal.
