Today my son graduates from grade to middle school. I am heading to the event later in the am today. I am very proud. :D I'm also a bit sad to see my kids growing up quite fast.

Congrats, Bob- that's really cool. I wouldn't worry about the growing up to fast bit, though- soon you'll have a petulent teenager, and all you'll want is for him to grow up! ;)

Congratulations! This graduation is important to the kids, it's a milestone that often goes unrecognized.

Somehow, I have to make it to the school I teach at on Thursday to graduate my 8th graders.

My 11 year old David graduates to middle school tomorrow morning, then will play in the championship game for his U11 travel soccer team in the afternoon.

My 5 year old son Warren graduated from pre-school on saturday, complete with cap and gown. My wife is already getting nutty with the "he is growing up so fast" stuff.

Congrats, Bob. Both your kids were really great! Bring them on future AZ events... :D

As for graduations, yes, Ms. Trailboss' sister graduated from Bates on Memorial Day and that was interesting and scary...realized how I'm an old guy being out of college a couple years now. It will be doubly scary when Ms. Trailboss earns her Master's next year and I will be sitting in the audience. Oh yeah, my "baby sister" graduates from high school next year...man, I'm stopping here...making me feel old!

Actually, Eighth grade graduation is typically the night before the last day of school. With the number of snow days we had this year, that date has been pushed well into June. The same is true of Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary School Graduations, they are usually the night before the last day. I have been teaching for 22 years now, and that is how it has been.

Bob, my kid graduated from elementary to middle school last Thursday. I was so proud of him! :D

It's unbelievable that 2 years from now he starts High School. Seems like yesterday he was just learning to walk.

My nephew graduated from high school a few weeks ago, and my niece (his sister) graduated from the 8th grade today. It all seemed so far away when I met them 7 years ago when I started dating their aunt.

What's worse: My own little boy turns 3 in less than a month. Didn't we just bring him home?!?!?!

 to graduation parties!!!
