Got first chair at 11:35. Found boot deep powder skiers right on the fields for the first two runs. Touched bottom once or twice, no damage done. Ski patrol then closed right side of trail, instead of posting thin and bare. The open half of the fields was real nice, good piles forming under the guns, some plants poking through but no ice.

Transition to stoic was a mix of ice, poor grooming, and dirt.

Top of stoic was OK, the rest of the way back to the lift was complete rubbish. Sticks, stones, golf balls, awkward grooming, dirt, and a wet gun or two.

Chair 1a was on super slow mode with frequent stops. The maze was a complete mess. The partitions were set up poorly and there wasn't a attendant to manage it. It two and a half hours to get ten runs in.

They could have done a much better with proper management. It was almost like they had never done this before.

Good news though, they are blasting away at the tubing park, and every piece of flatness they can find. That way all the beginners and folks from the lodge will have a one up on the dedicated pass holders.

Over all, it was better than nothing, but left a lot to be desired. They need to get their heads out of their butts and shape up.
